We invite prospective students to contact Disability Services with questions about services and accommodations. If accommodations are needed for tours of the campus, Explore Open Houses, or SOAR Orientation events, please contact Disability Services at least two weeks prior to the event in order to request those accommodations. Depending on the type of accommodation you request, you may need to provide disability documentation as support.
Students who plan to attend SOAR (Student Orientation, Advising and Registration) may need accommodations that are more extensive. SOAR is a busy two-day orientation event, which includes an overnight stay in our residence halls. During SOAR, students are advised and register for their fall semester courses. If you think you will need accommodations in order to participate in SOAR, please let us know. For more information contact Disability Services at 704-687-0040.
Staff are also available to meet with prospective students to discuss the registration process, accommodations, and campus accessibility.
