Sign Language Interpreter

The Office of Disability Services ensures equal access for individuals who are Deaf or hard of hearing through interpreter services. UNC Charlottes uses interpreters certified through Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) and North Carolina (Class A only) for class lectures, labs, tutoring, university meetings, and cultural events on campus.

If you are a certified American Sign Language interpreter and are interested in working at UNC Charlotte, please send your cover letter, resume and references to the Office of Disability Services. The campus interpreting needs vary considerably each semester. However, your information will be kept on file and you will be contacted when needed.
