Students who wish to discuss issues pertaining to their disabilities can schedule an appointment with a DS counselor. Students are not assigned a specific counselor when registering with our office. This allows all of the counselors the opportunity to work with each student. This also permits more flexibility in scheduling in order to address the time constraints that many students experience. However, students may request a particular counselor if they wish.
Students are encouraged to make appointments to discuss any concerns that might arise regarding accommodations and accessibility. If the issues lie outside the area of disability services, referrals to other campus support services can be made. Students registered with Disability Services benefit from the wide array of resources offered at UNC Charlotte. Click on the links below to learn more and get connected!
