SafeRide Daytime Disability Transportation Service

► To reliably accommodate the population SafeRide is designed to serve, disability transport requests must be prearranged through Parking and Transportation Services (PaTS).

► SafeRide is available to those who need assistance on a temporary (recent surgery, lower limb injuries, etc.) or long-tem basis (visual impairments, chronic medical illnesses that impact stamina, etc.).

► To qualify for SafeRide, students, faculty, and staff must submit the SafeRide medical verification form to the Office of Disability Services for review. Upon review, DS staff verifies the documentation and sends email confirmation of eligibility to PaTS and to the student, faculty or staff member requesting SafeRide. Requests are processed and transport is scheduled quickly, usually within 24 hours.

► For appropriate SafeRide forms and more information, visit the Parking and Transportation Services (PaTS) website by clicking here for SafeRide.
