Important Information about SOAR
Students who plan to attend SOAR (Student Orientation, Advising and Registration) may need accommodations that are more extensive. This program assists you with your transition to UNC Charlotte, and allows you to meet with an academic advisor and register for your fall semester classes. You will also learn important information about the University and all of the services in place to promote your success. SOAR is a busy two-day event, which includes an overnight stay in University residence halls. If you think you need accommodations in order to participate in SOAR, contact Disability Services and SOAR Staff at least two weeks prior to your SOAR dates.
DS Staff are also available to meet with prospective students to discuss the registration process, accommodations, and campus accessibility.
