Placement Tests
Sometimes students need to take a placement test in order to gain access to certain majors or courses. Students who require accommodations for a placement test at UNC Charlotte should plan ahead with both Disability Services and the placement test coordinator.
Students new to Disability Services must provide appropriate disability documentation to our office in advance of the placement test so that accommodations can be determined. Students registered with Disability Services should contact their DS counselor. Disability Services works collaboratively with the student and the coordinator of the placement test to address reasonable testing accommodations.
